March Mayhem:  Final talleys for Fridays event are not yet available.  We are still waiting for final payments from some of our corporate sponsors.  Robert Wingo would like to thank Alan Bales and his committee for all of their hard work in organizing this event.  Even though Alan had a death in the family, he still attended and left early Saturday morning.

Scholarship Committee:  Marilyn Davis and Heidi Dukes will co-chair this committee.  Krista Scudlark has agreed to be the third person on this committee.  Marilyn will have forms out later this week.

Officer Nomination Committee:  We will need a chairperson for this committee.

Strawberry Fundraiser:  We should receive the information by next week.  Delivery date will be the 1st week of May.  This has been a very successful fundraiser in the past.  Anyone interested in chairing this fundraiser should contact Robert Wingo.

Toner/Cell Phone Recycling:  Ken Schleiffer is still picking up used toners and old cell phones to recycle.

Spaghetti Dinner:  The spaghetti dinner fundraiser is usually scheduled for this month.  Anyone interested in organizing this event, please let Robert Wingo know and he will make sure you receive all the required information.

Applebees Pancake Breakfast:  This is a fundraiser we may still be able to schedule.

Anyone interested in chairing any event or fundraiser does not need to know how to do it.  All information can be provided and assistance can be given from someone who has maybe chaired the event in the past.

New business

Uniforms:  P.J. Hopkins is repairing covers and uniforms in preparation for the band trip to Cleveland.  Please make sure uniforms are turned in as soon as possible.

Retirement:  Barry Eli announced his retirement after 30 years of teaching at the end of this year, putting to rest any rumors that may be circulating.  He has also been selected at Cape Henlopens Teacher of the Year by a large margin.  He has postponed much needed surgery which can now be scheduled and is at peace with his decision.
