Old Business
State Fair Parking: P.J. Hopkins prepared a thank you letter for all volunteers (copy attached). The total number of parkers was 324. This consisted of only 107 people working a total of 2,130 hours. The parkers earned $6.76 per hour. P.J. reported the success of this fundraiser and has volunteered to chair for next year along with Lisa Bales. Robert Wingo reported how worthwhile this fundraiser is when it comes to helping with the trip fees.

Bar-B-Queue: Robert Wingo thanked Chuck Gooding for the time and effort he gave for this fundraiser. The total amount collected was close to $1000.00 and each dinner was sold at only $6.00 each. A special thank you was extended to the Gooding family for their time, Alan and Lisa Bales for the coleslaw, Cheryl Littlefield for the bake sale, Jeff Littlefield for his time, and Heidi Dukes for picking up extra platters. Vicky Lagins and Mary Simonson also spent the entire day helping and deserve a thank you for their time. We are also grateful to Kim Wooding for the use of the facilities and also the silverware. The tent was purchased and can be used for future events. Kim Wooding will check with Linda Rogers to see if the banner that we had in the past is still available. Robert Wingo also noted how great it is to see the friendships develop between everyone, students and parents included.

Car Wash: Cheryl has the sign in sheets. The car wash was not very busy; however a total of $110.00 was earned.

Pizza Party: Marilyn Davis advised that donations have been secured from Grotto Pizza and Miltonian for the pizzas and Lewes Dairy for drinks. Marilyn will have the cups and plates, Yvonne Lallier will pick up pizza from Miltonian and Mrs. Bradley has volunteered to pick up the pizza from Grottos.

New Business
Joe Corbis fundraiser will be held in September and a chairperson is needed. Anyone interested, please see Bob Wingo - he will have all of the necessary information. This fundraiser will begin the first week of school.

Community Service Stars - Mary Simonson discussed an option for the stars for community service hours. Each student who earns 8 hours of community service will receive 1 star to wear on their uniform. This has been discussed in the past and not acted upon. Heidi Dukes presented a motion to accept the program as discussed and it was
accepted. Any community service hours should be forwarded to Heidi to keep track along with the student accounts.
