| August 08 Minutes (Continued) Chicken Bar-B-Cue and Car Wash will be held on Saturday, September 13th. This bar-b-gue will have � chicken, home made baked beans, and a=2 0choice of homemade Cole slaw or potato salad. Robert Wingo has offered to make the baked beans; Alan Bales will make the Cole slaw, and Jeff Littlefield will make the potato salad. We have had many patrons indicate how good our Bar-B-Cue is in comparison to others - Our chicken is always cooked, they only wish we were there every weekend! Upcoming Fundraisers: Robert Wingo reported the following upcoming fundraisers, and sign-up sheets were handed out for volunteers to chair and assist with each event. October - Spaghetti Dinner or Restaurant Night October - Coast Day - 1st Sunday in October - All money collected will go directly to the general fund November, December - Fruit and Flowers January - Nic-o-bolis February - Strawberry Sales and possibly a spaghetti dinner Volunteers will also be needed for parades, uniform fittings, the phone tree and public relations. Darrell Dukes encouraged all of the 9th grade parents to join in and assist with the fundraisers. He also encouraged student involvement which will help defray costs of the band trip in the spring.
