Parent Notification There are several avenues used to notify parents of upcoming events. All events are announced at booster meetings and posted on the web site. A phone tree is also in effect. If you have not received a phone call, please make sure that we receive your contact information, so that you may be added. Drum Major Camp Heidi Dukes would like to thank the boosters for sending Kristen to drum major camp. It is an excellent program and the final performance is spectacular. Kristen was very pleased with camp. Heidi commented on the pride that you can see in all of the children with their final performance. Carol Moore also reported how excited James was for the opportunity to attend camp. Mr. Parks (director) speaks very highly of the children and encourages them to find someone who is unsure of the future with band and take them on as a project, encouraging them to continue. Both Mrs. Dukes and Mrs. Moore were very pleased with the precision obtained in such a short period of time. Outback Dinner Lisa Bales and Christina Palmer will be co-coordinating a dinner at Outback Steak House. More information to come later. Pizza Hut Dinner Freda Burton reported that Pizza Hut has a coupon night offering 20% of the meal to boosters. The coupon must be presented at the time of the meal. Freda will contact them to schedule a date. |
