Aug 31-Dec31,1862...dated Jan1, 1863
near Shelbyville, Tn.

Left Loudon, Tn. about the 22 Nov, 1862 where last payroll made and traveled to Bridgeport, Al. by railroad a distance of 30 miles. From there to Manchester, marched a distance of 80 miles and stayed there eight or ten days. Then took up a line of march for Readerville, a distance of 23 miles through the mud and snow. Got to Readerville stayed some 10 or 12 days and was ordered to Murfreesboro. Got there the 27 of Dec and laid in line of battle two days and nights before going into the fight. Went into it and got 8 men wounded and lost our Captain, missing. The battle lasted about 8 hours on our wing, then lay in a line of battle some 2 days and nights
and then fell back here (near Shelbyville) through the mud and a distance of 28 miles.

Tyners Depot  (this is in Tn near Chattanooga)
Private D.H. Street was stripped from the rolls
by orders. He has joined a command in the Trans Miss.

Sept and Oct 1863
near Beandon, Miss.
This company was engaged in the marches around
Chattanooga, Lafayette and in the battle of Chickamauga.
Left there 23 Sept for Miss.
Those missing are reported absent with out leave.

April 5 1864
This roll was not made out on the 1st of April
as the command was on the march from Demopolis,
Ala to this point, (Lauderdales, Miss) and was
made out as soon thereafter as practible.
