days of the Month when the different phases of the Moon occur. A Farmer's
Alamac is Perfect for this as it not Only gives you the Days of each Moon Phase,
but it will also tell you the Precise Time that the Phase begins. Then you can plan
your various Magickal Workings to coinside with the proper Moon Phase for
optimal Energies.

It has been known for centuries that the Moon has an effect on various Magickal
Spellsworkings through the various Energy Levels produced with the varying
Phases of the Moon. Magickal Spells cast to Increase something should be Cast
when the Moon is Waxing, becoming more Full. Magickal Spells intended to
Reduce something should be Cast when the Moon is Waning, or diminishing. Full
Moon Workings should take place as near as possible to the time when the
Moon is Full, for Maximum Energies and Effectiveness. The most effective Magick
Spell Workings are done during the time of the Full Moon.

This is the phase of the Moon, when there is no Moon visble at night. The Moon
Rises at Dawn and Sets at Sundown, directly ahead of the Sun. At this Phase, the
Sun and the Moon are said to be in Conjunct with one another, because of the
closness of thier respectives paths in the sky. For best results in New Moon Magick,
perform your Spells during the Daylight hours. The Best time to use New Moon
Magick is, of course, on the Exact Day of the New Moon. You can, however, use
New Moon Magick for up to 3-1/2 days after the New Moon. Energies of the New
Moon start to diminish after the First day.

In this phase, the Moon Rises at Noon and Sets at Midnight. The Waxing Moon phase
is the 7 to 10-1/2 days after the New Moon. Use the Planetary Hours add Impact to

"to Grow" and comes from the Tradition of Candle-Making. With each Dipping, or
Waxing, the candle got larger.

with each other. The Optimal time for Magickal Workings in this phase is in the
Evening between 10pm and 11pm.

In this phase, the Moon Rises at Sundown and Sets at Dawn. This phase of the
Full Moon occurs 14 to 17-1/2 days after the New Moon. During this Phase of the
Moon, the Sun and the Moon are in full opposition of each other at 180 Degrees.
The optimal time for Full Moon Magick is around Midnight or when the Full Moon is
Directly overhead. You may use the Energies of the Full Moon from the first Night of
the Full Moon until 3 days afterward.
