Candle Magick
And Their Color Correspondences
The use of Corresponding Candle Colors in your workings is considered
"Practical Magick." As you are working with the Element of Light. Candle
Magick is by far the Easiest and most Effective Magick to practice. I use Candle
Magick all the time myself, simply because I love candles and Candle Magick is
very straight-forward. Candle Magick is a great way for novices to begin their
Magickal Spell Workings. It should be pointed out to novices, however, that
Candle Magick is a Magickal Tool! It should be used Wisely and with Care.
If one follows Good Common Sense, Meditates and uses Visualization for
Protection, nothing is to Fear, even the beginning student.
Begin with the Lighting of the Candle, then a spend a few minutes of quiet
Meditation as you focus on your Goal. Focusing is best done by Visualization
in your mind. "See" what you want the outcome to be and the end
results of the Spell.
* A Note About Magickal Workings *
Don't expect to get what you want right away, Magick is about appreciating
what you already have. It also means being Honest with yourself! Know exactly
what it is that you want to acheive! Be precise in what you are "Working" for.

If you Want a new house, then Focus on a new house - Not in becoming
Wealthy, as Wealth can come in many forms and may not come in a way
that can help you acheive your ultimate Goal of getting that new house!
In your Magickal Workings, (for this example) "See" yourself in your new
house. "See" the Way the house Looks, the Way the Yard Looks, the Colors of
the Outside and the Inside rooms. "See" the Location of where you want your to
be (in a certain neighborhood, in the country, etc.) Be One with the Universe
inside your new house, where all is Good and Right. Get the Idea?
Above All....Magick is supposed to be Fun! Do what feels Right and Natural to
You. If it "Feels Right", Do It! If It Doesn't, then Don't! Everyone is an
individual, let your individuality shine through in your Magick.
Another way to increase the Power of your Candle Magick Spell Workings is
to use the Correct "Time of Day", "Day of the Week" or "Moon Phase".

Each Color stands for a particular principle or set of principles and values.
The following is a list of colors and their related properties that can be used
for Color and Candle Magick. These Colors will have the same Meanings and
can Also be used for Alter Cloths, Clothing, Stones or any other Accessories.
* Important Notes About Using Candles *
Never Blow out a Candle that you have used in your Magickal Spell Workings!
This Blows All the Energy you have just put into the Spell Away from you
and your Spell won't work, instead, use an inexpensive candle snuffer, your
Athame (if using one) or Clap your hands quickly enough over the flame to
Extinguish. Also, Never leave a Burning Candle Unattended! Some would have
you believe that you Must use Natural Beeswax candles for the best results,
for they are made in nature, but I have found that this is not true. Dollar Store
candles seem to work just as well. Another myth I have heard is that the color
of the candle must be totally through the candle, in other words, not one color
on the outside and white on the inside. This, too, I have found not to be true.
Again, your Best Bet for inexpensive candles seem to be the local Dollar store.
