What is a Familiar?

A Familiar is any Creature that You have a Bond with OR an

Affinity for, meaning a Pet that You can Communicate Mentally

with OR a Creature that You Collect Ojects of. Do You have

a Pet that Knows and Understands what You are Saying? Do

You have a Pet that You Understand what they Want by thier

Vocalization or Body Language? Is there a Craeture that You

have always Collected Pictures, Statues and other Objects of?

These are Your Familiars. A Familiar can be a Real OR a Mythical

Creature, such as Dragons, Pagusus and Unicorns.

How do Familiars Relate to Religion?

Familiars and their connection to the physical world has always

been a part of every major Religion. A common belief in many

different societies is that Spiritual beings often use Animals or

Animal imagery to communicate their purpose and roles to

humans. Different teachings use different words to depict these

Spirits, but each of them have common beliefs.

What are the Different Names Given to Familiars?

Some different names used for the Spirits of Animals are:

Familiars, Totems or Totem Animals, Animal Spirits, Power

Animals and Animal Helpers.

How can Familiars Help Us?

Animals help to Empower and Protect us. Their Energies can be

used in many ways -- for Spiritual Growth, Inspiration, Creativity

and Healing. They help us learn about ourselves and our

connection to other worlds. They help us transcend the normal

conscious mind allowing us to reach new understanding and new

heights of Imagination. Imagination is a Powerful Tool to help

us Create and work with Images. The more you learn to use your

Imagination in dealing with Animal Spirits, the more you will learn

and the more they will Participate in your Life.... and, most

Importantly, the more you will truly Understand yourself and your

Place in Reality.
