Apple Crumb Pie
Filling
6 medium apples
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3/4 cup Splenda
1 tablespoon all purpose flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 pie crust

Topping
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup Splenda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons calorie reduced margarine
1/4 cup sliced almonds (optional)

To prepare filling: Pare, core and cut apples into 1/4" thick slices. Toss with lemon rind and juice. Separately, combine Splenda, flour and cinnamon. Mix with apples. Place in pie crust.

To prepare topping: Combine rolled oats, flour, Splenda and cinnamon. Stir in margarine until mixture is crumbly. Spoon evenly over apples. Add almonds, if desired. Bake at 425F for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350F, bake 35-40 minutes longer or until apples are tender.
