| Well HAPPY NEW YEAR. I remember New Years day, I had a horrible hang over..!! But other than that I went to my local parts dealer and bought a new Camshaft. The camshaft I got has a .460 lift. I decided to go ahead and install the cam that day and it really only took me about 6 or 7 hours to completely install.. And I really didnt make that much of a mess, even though the engine was still in the car. But it went together smoothly. Around this same time I decided to go ahead and install a heater system. Well this didnt turnout to good. I mean I was able to locate all the parts that I needed with a extremely cool Junk Yard Finder. Check it out--- Junk Yard Dog-- The installation of the heater went ok but I had to remove the passenger side fender, which was a real pain. But once I got it in and ran all the hoses and everything and started the engine up to see if anything was leaking, Well guess what, the heater core leaked. So I had to take everything apart again to get to the heater and then go and get another one. The heater finally worked, kinda the knobs that I recieved from the junk yard were in rough condition. |
