| Well I just got back from Jegs with Aluminum pulleys to replace those old ones. These pulleys are very nice, I dont have the pulley to cover the powersteering pump though. ALSO THE SUPER CHEVY SHOW CAME THROUGH..!! ME AND MY DAD WENT TO SHOW ON SATURDAY..WOW WHAT AN EVENT, THE JET CARS, ALL THE PARTS, WOW...!!!! I BOUGHT A FEW THINGS OUT THERE LIKE A 8" HARMONIC BALANCER, AND A CHROME 7 QUART OIL PAN. THIS WAS A GREAT DEAL. I installed the oil pan on a Saturday afternoon. Before I installed it I purchased a one-piece oil pan gasket and I had to research tofind the right pickup for the oil pump. The installation of the pan was THE HARDEST THING IVE HAD TO DO TO DATE! I didnt expect it tobe so hard to work with. I had to lift the engine off the motor mounts and also had to remove the tranny mount. Toget the gasket to stay in place I used tie straps through all of the oil pan bolt holes and lifted the pan into place. I cut them off before I put the bolts in. But it turned out good and now I have like 9 or so quarts of oil running through my engine.!! |
