Well my birthday finally came around.(AUGUST 7) It was a good month too. I got alot of work done to the Nova this month. I Bought a Dual Electric Fan Setup to get rid of that dangerous Flex fan. The fans are great and install in less than an hour. Its great because it has an electric switch that turns on when the water reaches 195 degrees. It keeps the engine around that temp after its been ran for about 30 minutes of siting still. This was a great buy.. I got it at JEGS. -- CHECK IT OUT.--
I also purchased an oil filter relocation kit that was extreamly easy to install. I went with the dual oil filter because I want my oil to be clean and cool. I also installed a Transmission cool that I had purchase months earlier.
Also I moved my battery to the trunk and ran the positive with 1Guage wire to the start and ground to the rear frame. The only problem that I ran intothe whole time was that I got the cables mixed up and also caused me to go through 3 Ignition modules, and I wsa going crazy tring to figure out what was causing all of my electonics to run BACKWARDS. Well this problem was soon figured out and fixed. I purchased a Engine harness from a company online, and it solved alot of problems.
Also I completed my brakes by purchasing a Proportioning valve made for front disc/ rear drum, and I also purchsed new front brake lines for the front of the NOVA. |
