Apparatus 
The Chester Hose Company has written
specifications for all new apparatus purchases considering the best
interest of the members, taxpayers, needs and resources of our town and
surrounding communities.
- Engine 7-6-1
Engine 7-6-1 is a 1988 Pierce Lance Pumper.
This is our primary attack engine responding directly to the scene
from our High Street Station with up to 6 personnel. This truck is
equipped with a 1500 gpm single stage pump, top mounted pump panel,
pump operator air system, 1000 gal. water tank, 30 gal. afff foam
tank, around the pump foam, 2000 feet of 5 inch supply hose, 2 deck
guns six 4.5 Scotts, ventilation saw and other equipment.
- Engine 7-6-2
Engine 7-6-2 is a 1974 Maxim Pumper. This is
our back up / primary attack / supply / mutual aid engine responding
from our west end station at Whelen Engineering with up to 4 personnel.
This truck is equipped with a 1500 gpm two stage pump, 750 gal. water
tank, four 4.5 Scotts, 2 deck guns,1800 feet of 5 inch supply hose and
other equipment.

- Engine 7-6-3
Engine 7-6-3 is a 1996 Pierce Lance Pumper.
This is our primary supply / mutual aid engine responding from our
High Street Station with up to 6 personnel. This truck is equipped
with a 2000 gpm single stage pump, Enclosed top mount pump panel, 750
gal. water tank, 75 feet of 6 inch suction hose, front, rear and 3
side intakes, three 5 inch discharges,2500 feet of 5 inch supply hose
1 deck gun, six 4.5 Scotts, chain saw and other equipment.
- Tanker 7-6-5
Tanker 7-6-5 is a
2001 Peterbuilt, with a 2000 gal. water tank, two 2100 gal. fold a
tanks, 10 inch dump valve on rear and two side dumps, two 3 inch stortz
fills, 3 inch PTO transfer pump, built by S&S Tank.
- Brush 7-8
Brush Truck 7-8 is a 1974 Dodge Power Wagon,
utility body, slide in pump with 250 gal. water tank, electric winch
and assorted brush fire equipment.

- Inflatable 7-2-1
Inflatable boat 7-2-1 is a 10 foot Bombard,
with outboard motor, sterns dry suits, topped with a Rescue Alive ice
sled.
- Rescue Boat 7-2
Rescue Boat 7-2 is a 1988 Steiger Craft, with
a 3 inch Hale portable pump.

- Rescue Truck 7-9
Rescue Truck 7-9 is a 1985 International Cargo
Star with a Ranger rescue body, 20 k.w. pto generator, Tempest p.p.v.
fan, medical kits, Defibrillator, Hurst rescue systems, cribbing,
Vetter high pressure air bags, two 4.5 Scotts and other equipment.

- Antique Hose Reel
Our first piece of Apparatus was received in
1912.

- Antique 7-5-2
Engine 7-5-2 is a retired 1941 American
LaFrance Pumper. This truck was retired in 1974. The town donated it
to the Hose Company who restored it through donations.

- Tanker 7-6-5
Retired December 10, 2001
Tanker 7-6-5 is a 1977 International Cargo
Star, with a 2000 gal. water tank, 2100 gal. fold a tank, 10 inch
Newton dump valve, two 3 inch stortz fills,3 inch transfer pump. This
truck was converted from an oil truck by volunteer labor from our
engineers. It was purchased with raised funds by the Hose Company
members.
