Fishing Report

Hello everyone,

Quick Report - I was out today prospecting some spots I hope to see turn on soon and all in all it was a pretty good day. The shallow water fishing is productive but certainly not at it's peak just yet, once the water cools a bit more and we get into Oct. fishing should pick up ten fold and the fish will really get schooled up. Today I headed out just WNW of Smith Island in search of breaking fish and that's precisely what I found and acres of them. Lots of Rock from 18-20" with Blues mixed in were working through the top end of flood tide and I managed to follow them for a couple of hours with consistent action. Flies and 4" shads all produced well.
