As aforementioned (perhaps too many times?), I'm currently about to start the third and final year of my Commerce degree... Come to think of it... Time really flies! I still remember my first year when I didn't know anyone in my course and everything was still new to me... Even editing my timetable online was something really cool...

I'd initially decided to take up a Bachelor of Science degree, then it was deciding between my two favourite subjects for majors-- Chemistry or Mathematics... But then, a friend of mine suggested going for Actuarial Studies instead, since I like Maths. so much... Upon finding out more about the course, I changed my course to that of Commerce... Henceforth ending the long story... The point being that most of my friends ended up in the Science stream... Hence accounting for my lack of friends in the Commerce stream...

However as time passes, one gradually learns to come out of one's shell to make new friends... Which I eventually did... Now, I have a large group of friends... We're called DHL (or actu-weenies [courtesy of one of my lecturers] because we're studying to be actuaries...)!! [Btw, I won't name my friends one by one... So don't expect me to...]

 Above:: In one of our lecture halls (Lyle Theatre, RBB) after our last Statistics lecture for the semester...

Below:: Taken in a restaurant, in celebration of Winnie's, Pei Chin's, and my birthday... (No, our birthdays do not coincide... But they're close enough...)

Above:: Along Lygon Street, after dinner at Papa Gino's...

Below:: In Winnie's garden...

The only final comment (final few comments, anyway...) I have is that taking Actuarial Studies is cool... In what sense? I get to do what I like most-- Mathematics! Plus, I get to meet my (aforementioned) friends... As a bonus, I tend to get amused every time people ask me which degree I'm undertaking. To which I always reply "Actuarial Studies". It is then that I brace myself for one of two most common reactions-- "Huh? o.0? What is that?" or "Oooh, that's not an easy course!". =D
