Linguistics stuff? What's this about?

Well, I'm a doctoral student at Boston University in the Applied Linguistics program. I generally find languages really intriguing and fun to study. I am essentially a language dork. Because it seems to be where the jobs are, I've done quite a lot of language teaching...namely English as a second language and Spanish (also as a second language:P). I'm certified in both disciplines in two states...and thismakes my parents very proud, so I guess it was worth all the annoyance of doing with *two* state bureaucracies.

I'll post some past and current papers, lesson plans, etc up here when I have the time to dig them up. That is, after all, why this subpage exists.
