| The AmeriCorps program is a national program emphasizing helping people and developing professional skills. As part of AmeriCorps, you can commit either 1700 (full-time) or 900 (part-time) total hours to be complete by October 1, 2003. While completing the hours, you will earn a stiped. In addition, after all the hours are completed, you will recieve an education award. Full-time members also recive health care coverage and may be eligible for daycare benfits!
