               The day started positive. Having won the toss we elected to bat on a fairly solid
               wicket. Things looked shakey when we lost Sam Martin with the score on one. However,
               Peter Shaw (31) and Rob Hussey (49) combined to put on a 56 run partnership before
               We lost our next wicket. Chris White (42) then combined with Rob Hussey for another
               strong partnership of 42 before Rob departed. The last Partnership of note was between
               Chris White and Hugh Wilson (10) who put on 37. The tail unfortunately failed to shine
               this week and after a very positive start we were bowled out for 154.
               
               Andrew Kemp (3-15) stared out bowling attack up very well claiming two of his three
               wickets in the first over to be on a hat-trick, and have Starthpine sitting at 2-0.
               Another wicket came with the score sitting on 20. However, the Starthpine batsman then
               went about seeing out the day. At the end of the first days play the match is in the
               balance with Starthpine 3-65.
               
               Unfortunately overnight rain made play on the second day impossible and caused a drawn result.
