Captains Abstract
Today saw me loose the toss and have the boys sent out into the field during the
hottest part of the day.
Things looked tough early with no wickets coming until the 6th over when Rob Hussey
recovered brilliantly form a misfield to cause the run out of one of the Caribbean
openers. With the introduction of John Devine (4-19)into the attack, wickets began
to fall reguarly, together he and Kris (3-24) set about destroying the opposition,
and allowed us to clean them up for the gettable total of 133.
As usual we looked to the openers to get us away toa flying start, however when I
chopped on again, a collapse bagan that saw us fall to 4-36. Sebastian played well
for his 13 before he was caught by a screamer of an effort by the Caribbean captain
in the covers. Shaun McCoy tried to restore some pride to the score by blasting his
way to 14*, however our batting never really looked threatening and we collapsed to
be all out for 92.
Caribbean Hospitals winning by 41 runs.
