Captains Abstract
The day started with us losing the the toss of the coin and being sent out to field
on a very hot and humid day.
Things started well with Kempy picking up the first wicket when a sharp catch was
taken at gully. However, form that point on our poor fielding is what stood out,
with Johnson (111) being dropped 6 times in the day. This led to the impsong target
of 253 being set by the Albany Creek side, Rob Hussey being the real stand out with
figures of 5-34.
The batting started off well enough with Pete and I starting with a partnership of 22
before I was given out for 10. From there on we failed to make any real in roads
except for Pete (60), who scored his 50 off Thirty-Five balls, and Sam (13) who were
two of the few to make double figures.
In the end Albnay Creeks target proved too elusive and we fell for 120 in the twenty-
first over.
