                The day started well. After winning the toss we elected to bat. This prooved to be a
                good decision with Sam Martin (32) and Robbie Calcutt (13) making a good opening stand
                of 44. This started a strong batting performance by our boys with everyone putting in
                a good effort; Rob Hussey (47), Chris White (28), Hugh Wilson (27), Toney Lahey (32).
                This allowed us to post the good target of 8 declared for 223.
                
                Once again the big hitting of Albany Creek prooved difficult for us to defend against,
                with the Albany Creek openers making 93 before Shaun McCoy took a good outfield catch
                off the bowling of Lahey to break the combination. At stumps 1-98.
                
                The second day started off well with us claiming three quick wickets in the opening
                overs. However, as well as we bowled a couple of good partnerships saw Albany Creek,
                crawl past our score. No more play was possible as rain came and prematurely ended the
                game.
