               The last game of the one-day season saw us finish with a win over the Matter Hill
               side.
               
               After winning the toss, I elected bowl on a pitch which seemed pretty damp after
               overnight rain. We had almost instant success when Shaun (1-7) took the first wicket
               clean bowling one of the Matter Hill openers. Soon after Kempy (2-29) dismissed the
               second of the openers. Then saw a tight spell of bowling by John Devine (4-32) and
               myself (2-14), taking 6-49 between us. Kempy then took the last wicket to close the
               Matter Hill innings with a total of 93.
               
               Our batting began well with Pete (23) and promoted Sambo (11) making a partnership
               of 37 before the fall of the first wicket fell. With good additions by Rob (13),
               Drew (11*) and Robbie (8*) seeing us claim victory by 4 wickets.
