Our first New Year's Eve?
My head on your sleeve?
The smile on my face?
Each warm embrace?

Do you remember...
All the places we went?
The money we spent?
Touching toes at night?
Holding me tight?

Do you remember...
A candlelight bath?
The family's wrath?
My dancing for you?
The sad times, too?

Do you remember...
The times I cried?
How hard I tried?
All that we shared?
How much we cared?

Do you remember...
The promises made?
How I was afraid?
What we went through?
Each day as I do?

Do you remember?

Just close your eyes
Let the memories appear
And the love we shared
Will always be near.

When someone you love becomes a memory,
the memory becomes a treasure.
