Parents should send students to school with appropriate outer garment for recess time (coats, hats, gloves, mittens, etc.). All students are expected to go outside for recess. If there is some reason your child must stay inside please send a note to your child�s teacher explaining the circumstances and the dates that the time includes. If a student must stay inside for a period of time extended longer than 1 week for a medical reason, a note from the doctor will be required.
On days of inclement weather it may be the decision of the teacher or principal to have recess indoors. When students are out on the playground they are under the authority of the supervising teacher, staff member or adult supervisor. Students are not to wander off of the school property for any reason without approval from the recess supervisor.
Students may bring the following playground equipment for use at recess: jump ropes, balls, gloves and Frisbees. For inclement weather recess students may bring principal/teacher approved items. Please check with your child�s teacher before allowing your child to bring items.
