Bible Instruction: Each student will take Bible courses as part of his/her regular class schedule. The courses will be nondenominational in approach in that it is not our desire to promote or denounce the beliefs of a particular denomination. It is our desire to complement the ministry of the local church in the Great Commission to make and train disciples. We expect each local church to teach its own Biblical beliefs as part of Sunday school or other church ministries. The course content will be consistent with the doctrinal statement of the school, with which are parents are to be in agreement with. If a scripture passage or doctrine is taught in a way which differs with the way of a students family, or church understands it, that belief will be respected. However, the student will be required to be knowledgeable of that teaching as part of an assignment or test. The school recognizes Gods Word, the Bible, to be the 66 books of the Old and New Testament inspired of God and inerrant as originally written. We believe that God ahs faithfully preserved the text of scripture so that we have accurate copies and translations which are fully reliable. We recognize these versions to be those that are used for reliability with the school. King James Version (KJV) New King James Version (NKJV) New International Version (NIV) New American Standard Bible (NASB) Our lower elementary students use the Childrens Bible for Bible memorization and general study. Chapel: Chapel services will be held as part of the regular class schedule each Wednesday, and attendance is required of all students. These services are a key to promoting school unity, a close family atmosphere, high morale, a worshipful spirit and positive motivation. |
