Margon In The Mist
Scallywag departed New River at 0830.  As we approached marker 46, Margon came out of the fog like an old pirate who'd been waiting in ambush.  The water was smooth as glass!
Thunder on the horizon and a little rain couldn't keep us home.  Scallywag's new bimini proved invaluable for protection from rain and sun.  The weather alternated clear, then showers.
The weather cleared
Steve's Anchor Line Knot
Front Street
To the left is a picture of Front Street.  To the right is Steve and Kelly, trying to untie a knot in the anchor line.  Scallywag had already set, but the current was strong and we thought an additional anchor was warranted.
After anchoring, we ate at the Icehouse Waterfront For a review of the place, click here!
Anchorage
Rafted up after dinner, it was a gorgeous evening.  To right is the fishing fleet at sunrise the next morning.  Kelley made eggs and sausage for breakfast!!!!

Headed Home
Sunday was a beautiful day as we sailed home.  Wind was light and variable, but we weren't in a big hurry.  Mike saw another  dolphin, which means he's seen them on every day that we sailed out of the New River together.
It was a GREAT two day adventure!
