| Years ago, the Scallywag was owned by an old friend named Kevin Meadows. Kevin called her "Basket Case". Then, some time in 2003, Kevin sold her to Mike. Mike had the hull professionally refinished in 2004. The hull was scraped,sanded,and repainted. The lazarette was filled in and the engine mounted to the new transom.
