I spoke with the women's head soccer coach, Alex Crozier, and decided to transfer to Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo in the fall of 1998.  I attended the training camp just coming off of my seventh knee surgery and began the season packed in ice.  After months of physical therapy and one more surgery in sight I decided to end my college career as an athlete and concentrate on school.

San Luis Obispo is a quaint central coast town that hosts 16,000 college students every year.  The town's population increases by one-third each fall, but the variety of outdoor activies absorbs the swell of people.

With the pressure and schedule of full time college athletics no longer an issue, I was able to make friends and other intersts a priority.  I became involved in Campus Crusade, the University Choir and studied abroad.

In the spring of 2000 I studied British culture and Literature at the University of London.  This was definitely the highlight of my college career.

On December 9, 2000 I graduated from Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo with a Bacholers of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and an English minor.
