I'm like millions of other women, I am unhappy with my weight, and I'm determined to loose at least 80 pounds. Like many other women, this is not my first diet, in fact, I have already lost just over 100 pounds, and kept it off. This is my third diet, and this is again an all out assault on my excess weight. I am keeping a chronicle of the ups and downs of this diet experience. I begin weighing two hundred twenty-nine pounds. I believe that a good goal weight for me would be around one hundred and thirty-five pounds, however, I may find that to be incorrect as time passes. I intend to "weigh in" every Monday morning, and I will honestly report that weight here, I will include any problems I had during the week, and of course, any new triumphs.

April 24, 2000 Hmmm... what a pattern... 2 pounds per week.... I can't mind that, it is progress. 225 pounds
April 17, 2000 One week down. I'm doing rather well, seeing as I'm only taking one shake  and one low-fat meal a day. I haven't given up sodas yet, I'm still hopelessly addicted to Dr. Pepper. 227 pounds

April 10, 2000

I am starting my diet today. I have decided to use the SlimFast Diet system. Two shakes a day and a very low fat meal.
