| The graduation requirements for each of the current classes are shown below. Requirements are based on those mandated by the Texas Education Agency. Graduation Requirements: Class of 2004 Class of 2005 Classes of 2006 and 2007 Graduates completing the Recommended High School program, regardless of the year of graduation, are considered Texas Scholars. The Recommended Plan is a college-preparatory program, and to encourage Texas Scholars to continue their education beyond high school, an incentive program has been legislated by the Texas lawmakers. The Texas Grant program currently pays full tuition and fees at any state college for eligible Texas Scholars graduates for up to five years. To be eligible, a student MUST APPLY for the grant using the FAFSA form as soon after January 1st of his/her senior year as possible Family income is a consideration. Texas students graduating in the top 10% of their class are automatically accepted into the state college or university of their choice. |
