Sacramento Hmong New Year, Incorporated is a non-profit organization for the Hmong community in the city of Sacramento. Sacramento Hmong New Year, INc. was founded in Date of inception by Name of founder. Name of founder's vision was to preserve and produce a traditional Hmong New Year in a rapidly changing society.

Sacramento Hmong New Year, Inc. hopes to bring forth the Sacramento Hmong New Year into a new era. SHNY, Inc.'s goals are to introduce the concept of the Sacramento Hmong New Year to the next generation of Hmongs and to reinforce Hmong values and traditions.

SHNY. Inc hopes to:

Establish a positive relationshiip between the 19 Hmong clans and have equal representation from each of those 19 clans

Preserve the cultural values, heritage and customs of the Hmong community

Promot higher education, businesses and leadership within the hmong community

Create a strong financial asset, in order to give back to the community.

Sacramento Hmong New Year, Inc. wishes to preserve and pass along the rich Hmong culture and strong values to its' newest and youngest generation of Hmong - our future leaders, to continue to hold onto our heritage and to celebrate our own special identity.
