Hatteras Island

My favorite place to visit in North Carolina is the Outer Banks, specifically Hatteras Island. Hatteras Island is host to many interesting places, the main one being the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. I love the island's simplistic nature, which is ideal in order to relax completely. Hatteras Island has some of the most beautiful, not to mention uncrowded, beaches in America.

As I mentioned before, Hatteras Island has a lot of interesting places to see and things to do. Here are some of my favorite things to do while I'm on vacation.

Top 5 Favorite Things to Do on Hatteras Island:

Sit on the beach and soak up the sun.
Search for seashells along the water's edge.
Fish with my dad, either on the pier or in the surf.
Watch the sun rise over the ocean.
Fly a kite just before sunset on the beach.
