Hi, how you doing? Please read on for a brief background into my line dancing experience.

I was first introduced to Line Dancing in 1993 when I went to watch a Country Music band at a local club. I went to my first Line Dance class 2 and a half years later on 31st January 1996 (not that I remember the date well!) in South Milford. From then on I was hooked. I attended classes nearly every night of the week and went to socials when they occurred.

I got into teaching by accident really. I went to a local class, just down the road from where I live and was asked to take over the class. At this point Id only been learning for 9 months but I felt I knew enough dances to be able to take on the class. From then on things just escalated and I was approached to do other classes too, mostly beginners at the time. I had four classes a week at one time! I now run two regular classes which you can find out about in the Classes section.

I teach dances according to the ability of the people in my classes. I teach to both Country and other types of music depending on whats around at the time. I dont have a preference although I do like Country music and will teach those dances if I feel they suit my classes.

Although Im not a qualified instructor I am a member of the BWDA (Best Western Dance Academy).

Please have a look around and feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions or comments.
