Only
Being romantics at heart, when a1 first started writing songs together, we just wrote lots of ballads. One of the things that our managers kept saying to us was "You have to write some up-tempo songs." We'd never really tried it together, gave it a go and the first up-tempo song we wrote was a song called "Miracle" which became the B-side of "Be The First To Believe". The next one was a track called "If Only". "We were round our manager's house, we were playing around with lots of ideas and after I stuck a cheesy dance beat on my keyboard, we started dancing around, playing some piano bits, and that's how "If Only" came together. It's a very simple song with a simple melody and it's going down really well at all the clubs. - MARK BEN:
