MY PLACE
I am a Spinner of fibers and a weaver of cloth, blankets, rugs or whatever is in my mind to weave.
My next project is a Jewish Prayer Shawl. I just received the flax and plan to begin spinning shortly.
My youngest daughter is just now learning to spin and she has spun everything in sight, she might turn into a pest(grin). Spinning is the BEST FRIEND, and the most relaxing craft one can ever meet.
I have two wheels, an old, old great or walking wheel, and an Ashford Traveller. I love the traveller but the old wheel spins a very nice yarn.
I have a wonderful husband that I've been married to for 42 years, 1 son, 3 daughters, 3 terrific sons-in-law, 1 beautiful and sweet daughter-in-law and 15 grandchildren, 7 girls and 8 boys, WHEW! Sure is a busy time in my life,(who said its over at 40?)I feel mine is just beginning!.
