WARPING A SECTIONAL BEAM
I will assume for less confusion that you have
2 inch sections, and that you want 12 epi which will be
12 x 2= 24 epi per section.
To warp sectionally without a spool rack:
Cut cord or flat ribbon to twice the
desired length,as it will be doubled.
Tie a knot in end.
Attach to metal rod between sections with a larks head knot.
Make warp for each section using a warping frame.
If a beginner I suggest TIEING THE CROSS.
Place tension box on table or flat surface
and place each thread in comb of tension box as you take
them from the cross.Tie a Overhand KNOT in ends of threads.
Place tension box on back of loom
and make a larks head in cord or ribbon
that is on loom.
Put Knot made in warp threads through larks head and pull tight.
Wind on warp undoing tangles as needed.
You can do 1 section or as
many as you choose and are never caught
with your hands full of warp ends
or not enought time to begin a warp
for a new project.
Good Luck And Happy Warping!
