| We are advocates of "early" spay/neuter. All of our "Pet" kittens are spayed/neutered (if medically possible) before placement in their new homes. Our kittens/cats are sold to approved buyers only. |

| All of our breeding cats have been blood typed and found to be compatible for breeding to each other. We have a closed cattery and do not do outside breedings. We are VERY proud to say that Chaucer Cattery is "infectious free". |

| Chaucer Cattery takes the "natural" approach to feeding with all of kittens/cats being fed a high quality "raw meat" diet. They are allowed to free feed on dry cat food. We feed and highly recommend Iams, Felidae, and Royal Canin pet foods. |

| We are a small cattery and are firm believers in "quality" not "quantity" doing limited breedings. We are proud to say that we have exported the very first British SH's into Russia. Living in St. Petersburg, RUSSIA at this time is SGC Pickabob's Basil of Chaucer (cream spotted tabby) and CH Chaucer's Chloe (blue tortie/white). |
