The Database Committee officiates over the #Chatterz Database. The Database Committee is responsible for organising the #Chatterz Database, including handling OP Applications, Additions, Raises, and Deletions. The Database Committee is also responsible for determining and maintaining a fair system of awards for each level of experience and committment to #Chatterz. The Database Committee empowers the Operator Training Sub-Committee to train and test Operators upon the request of the Database Committee.

The Database Officer is responsible for organising the #Chatterz Database, including handling OP Applications, Additions, Raises, and Deletions. The Database Officer is also responsible for determining and maintaining a fair system of awards for each level of committment to #Chatterz; along with liasing with the Operator Training Sub-Committee so as to help to establish and maintain a fair system of Operator training and testing at all levels.
What prerequisits does the Database Officer require?
The Database Officer requires: experience as an Operator; prudance and impartiality; strong character; and, respect amongst and an extensive knowledge of #Chatterz Members.

The workload of the Database Officer is light.

Only one Database Officer is required.
What is the minimum Access Level required to become the Database Officer?
As the Database Officer is required to be an experienced Operator, and to have respect amongst and an extensive knowledge of #Chatterz Members, it is essential that they be a long-serving and well known Operator. As the Database Officer is also in a position wherefrom they have great leverage and control over levels of seniority, it is paramount that they be amongst the most trusted Operators in #Chatterz. Thus a minimum Access Level of 175 is required to attain this position.
