| Chateau Sorciere has been involved with Beaucerons since our first import arrived here from Czechoslovakia in 1994. We raise goats, ducks and chickens on the Farm, and we employ our Beaucerons to work with our stock. We have been amply rewarded by the strong work ethic and natural herding ability of this breed. |
| The first Beaucerons we ever saw were at a herding trial in upstate New York. We were impressed with the quiet dignity and serious attention to the task at hand. It was inevitable that the next herding dog we acquired was a Beauceron, and this was a fortunate decision. |
| However, it was not until we shared our home with a Beauceron that the delightful qualities of the breed became apparent. They do indeed deserve the title Country Gentleman. The Beauceron's eclectic combination of majestic presence and wicked humor have assured their place here forever. We cannot imagine our home without our rustic guardians. |

| Donson |
| Donson is involved in Junior Handling, and helps us every day with the training and socialization of our pups. This way they get plenty of hands-on training to make them easy for even the smallest child to handle. Our entire family is involved with the dogs, and playing with puppies can hardly be called work! Here Donson gives Tally a snuggle. All of our pups get lots of affection daily, and Donson makes sure they are checked out on 'little people' too! |

| All of our puppies receive extensive hands-on training beginning from Day One. Our babies are all engaged in Stress Sensitivity Training from their day of birth, to help them become the most stable, stress-free individuals possible. This makes them ideal candidates for any number of pursuits, including Search and Rescue, Police work, Agility, Flyball, Carting, Skijoring, Hiking, Herding, Obedience, Show, Therapy, Assistance, Schutzhund, Ringsport, etc. The Beauceron is reknowned for its versatility, and we do OUR part to ensure our pups are up to the challenge of whatever their owners desire. |

| We are a small hobby farm and our dogs are raised as farm dogs. All of our pups are exposed to livestock as soon as they are old enough to go outside. Before they leave for new homes, they are introduced to hoofstock, poultry, rabbits, cats and birds. This makes them extremely easy to fit into nearly any lifestyle. | We have had over 25 years experience producing top quality dogs for discerning owners. Our puppies and adults are provided with the very best feed and care, and all pups are immunized and wormed before release to new homes. Our breedings are meticulously planned, and all conform to our overriding philosophy: Form Follows Function. The dog MUST be able to do the work for which it was bred, and this is our Number 1 Priority. We are very stringent in our selection for both mental AND physical soundness, and we screen hips and hearts on ALL breeding stock. We strive to maintain the working versatility and robust health of the Beauceron, as well as producing dogs of great beauty and winning personalities. |
