My Fellow Citizens,
Adventures has the honor of hosting the 2007, XXII session of the Summit of the Governors (SOTG). Over three days from the 15th - 17th of March, 16 Governors and 10 Independent Representatives form the Islands will gather at the Chateau for the annual SOTG meetings. The SOTG is an annual meeting of our nations Governors where we discuss with the President on National Issues, domestic in nature, and advise each other on the course of action. The Summit is a platfom for each Governor to present an overview of the Year that has past, as well as the vision for each Territory which makes up the Federation of Legoland.
This year, Adventures follows up on the Group of Eight Summit which we had the honor of hosting last year at Rockeraiders. We discuss the all important issue of Climate Change. We will tackle the importance of how each territory can prevent this desaster from affecting our nation and the world. We will discuss early Childhood education, and the First Lady will host a parallel meeting for the Spouses of the Governers on Child Abuse. We will dicuss Veteran Affairs and Home Security. This conference needs each person to play a part, and thus, it is aptly entitled Unity, for when we are United, we are strong.
