GREECE #3

      This tour guide thank heavens took me to see and visited the Aropolis, with special permission actually able to go inside, took me breath away. Hot but nice visited the Parthenon built 5th century, visited the Eresthion most sacred Maiden called Caryatids. From up high can see the Piaka the temple of Olympion Zeus.

      Below Aropolis is theater of Herod Atticus still used for concerts built by Roman in 161AD. I have always loved history and I never hurry. Learning is free. We are both tired and Hungry. We found a nice restaurant found one in nearby Ariston.

      We had spanakopita Pe (Beef) roast lamb, baked potatoes Mydia Me Tomato Kai Skordo (Mussels in Tomato Sauce) Fava (Yellow split pea soup ) salad apo piperies (Red Pepper Salad) Koumeli Lodoriqani (Rabbit) with fried okra. Desert Bougasta (custard filled with Cherries)

      After splitting the bill. Got a bottle of Vatista Lokonikas white, so we sat outside and chatted and checked out the scenery. After relaxing being full back to the room.(Greeks love to eat-me to). And bed. Another day in lovely Athens.

      Had a sweet roll juice and coffee. With tour guide off to see Ancient Greece. Have seen and took pictures of the Parthenon, Statue of Athena, goddess of Athens, Mount Lycabettus, Arch of Hadrian.

      Also, The Olympeion Tower of the Winds, ruins of the Roman Forum, The Odeon of Herodes, The Doric Temple, The National Gardens designed by Amalia, the first queen of Greece, the Zappecion in central Athens, Arch of Hadrian,

      Propylae gateway to the Acropolis, Chorage Momument of Lysicrates, Karyatides of the Erechtheion of the Acropolis, Stoa of Altalus.

      So much to see. Thankful I've seen most of it.

      Went had tae and to tired to eat. Off to bed. After good nights rest and a good breakfast, traveled to Pindhos Oros, mountains in Loannina then to beach to the Iomian Sea sat on beach nice breeze.

      Back at hotel to the Pub for some beer called (Mythos) After quick supper of seafood and some milk, Off to bed.
