I do know Nancy, born 1843, was the oldest child, but according to the birthdates given, Eligah would only
have been ten years old and Delphia would only have been eight years old. Perhaps Eligah and Delphia were
born ten years sooner than as Ms. Smith posted?
I do know Nancy had a sister named Rachel, verified by records I have of the family. As a child I can remember
my grandfather Crowley talking many times about a Bud Hill, who had a pony and cart. In the summer, whenever
Bud would visit, the pony would go underneath the front porch in the shade where it was cooler. While I do not
know for certain this is the Hill family my great-grandfather Felix married into, I am inclined to believe it is.

Delphia Payne, b. about 1835 in GA or NC, d. 2-10-1906 in Morgan County, TN,
buried at Jackson Cemetery in Morgan County, TN.
