Annual meeting of the Finnish Chart Polski people
The Finnish Chart Polski people will organize their 10th traditional annual meeting in Helsinki April 26th 2008.

Well-deserved publicity for the Chart Polski in a historical spectacle
Stanisław I Leszczyński was the king of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth 300 years ago. Leszno city in western Poland was owned by the king Stanisław I. Sunday July 27th there in Leszno was a historical spectacle organized in memory of the king. In the parade appeared whole royal court. Also three Chart Polski individuals, presented by the kennel Arcturus, were there with the Grand Master of the Hunt family for enlivening the parade. More photos

Even more publicity for the breed
The Chart Polski people around the world have nicely represented the breed in different happenings. Like here is written earlier, there were Polish Sighthounds in the Leszno historical parade in Poland. Other news coming from Italy and Finland.

Siena, Italy The legendary horse race Palio has been a long tradition in Siena. Every year there have been also a great parade with historical costumes. A few Chart Polski individuals from the kennel Highwind took there part this year in July.

Helsinki, Finland The Finnish Oval Track Racing Championship is organized annually and every four years there is also the costume parade for the breeds of FCI group X and some primitive breeds from the group V organized by the Helsinki Sighthound Club. The Polish Sighthounds from kennel Emericius represented the breed this year, in August 16th.

Eye and heart examinations in Poland
Klub Charta Polskiego will organize the Chart Polski main specialty show near Częstochowa September 5th–6th 2009. Besides the show there will be possibility to do official eye and heart examinations for the Chart Polski. Possibly also MVD-cardiologist will be present. More information later.

Breeding overview in Dziecinów
March 29th Klub Charta Polskiego organized the first breeding overview of the year in Dziecinów near Warsaw. One male was qualified for stud and three other Chart Polski were qualified to the KW stud book. See the results in Breeding overview page.
