[15th Mar 04] New fanfic preview, "The End of All Things".

[13th Mar 04] Hey people, I've gone to the "Lord of the Rings: The Exhibition" at the Singapore Science Centre and it was great! Even though told not to, I actually managed to touch the actual costume worn by Orlando Bloom (Legolas) and the stave used by Christopher Lee (Saruman)! :Þ I noticed a couple of exhibits missing, such as King Elessar's amour, and Gandalf the White. PS: There's also a lot of merchandise to purchase, so be sure you bring along some money.

[12th Mar 04] The 'Charmed' action figures are finally ready to be on sale, courtesy of SOTA Toys! Using the latest scanning technologies, these 6" inch action figures feature detailed sculpting, articulation and themed accessories. In this first set of 4 individually packaged action figures includes: Alyssa Milano as Phoebe Halliwell, Rose McGowan as Paige Matthews, Holly Marie Combs as Piper Halliwell, and Michael Bailey Smith as Belthazor. Each figure comes packaged with a portion of the infamous attic; collect all the figures to create the complete attic diorama!

Ian McKellen sports a red charm.[1st Mar 04] Hurrah! 'The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King' swept the Oscars by winning all 11 awards it had been nominated for. The cast who attended admitted that they had worn lucky accessories such as green gemstone necklaces. Ian McKellen wore a red wristband/bracelet that looked sort of like the one Orlando Bloom has (only that Orli's is blue). When Sean Astin said, "I was given mine by Orlando Bloom. And that makes me the envy of a few million women," Ian McKellen added, "And a few million men!"

[29th Feb 04] Sister site Charmed Unlimited has changed their host! They will also be changing their site name to "Angels of San Francisco". Rumours have it that 'Charmed' season 6 will only return to Channel 5 after 'American Idol 3' ends, as the show is now currently using the regular timeslot for 'Charmed'.

[9th Feb 04] Clark Kent's coming back to town!! 'Smallville' season 3 returns to Ch 5 at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, 17th Feb. The last time we saw him, Clark (Tom Welling) accidentally set off some kind of nuclear shockwave that destroyed the Kents' farm and killed Martha's (Annette O'Toole) unborn baby. Riddled with guilt, he dons a red kryptonite ring and leaves Smallville. Meanwhile, Chloe (Allison Mack) accepts Lionel's (John Glover) offer to work at the Daily Planet and Lex's (Michael Rosenbaum) fate is unknown when his private plane crashes into the sea.

[5th Feb 04] A preview for the 'Samsara' fanfiction is up, entitled "The Bridge of Khazad-Dûm". Heads up, Singapore! 'Charmed' season 6 returns to SCV Starworld on Wednesday, 11th Feb at 8 p.m. Be sure to catch it! If you can't, there are repeat telecasts at 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.

Orlando Bloom and Kate Bosworth[2nd Feb 04] New book review for the latest 'Charmed' novel "Luck Be A Lady". Click here to see it. Also, there are rumors on the net saying that actor Orlando Bloom is going to propose to his girlfriend Kate Bosworth at the upcoming Empire Film Awards. Personally, I feel that this is unlikely because Orlando himself has voiced that getting married and settling down is still very much on the distant horizon for him. Besides, they haven't been dating for that long either.

[24th Jan 04] Charmed Evolution would like to wish actor William Gregory Lee a happy 31st birthday! Greg Lee is the celebrity CE used to role-play the character Zack Warren, and if you'd like to know more about him, you can do so at WGL Online.

[16th Jan 04]
A rumored 'Charmed' spin-off: Brian Krause returns with his own virtual spin-off series "Guardian Angel", co-starring Jane Leigh (as Jenna Davidson) and Dorian Gregory (as Darryl Morris). "Three years after the split from the love of his life (Piper Halliwell), Leo seeks solitude in New York. Unknown to Leo, Darryl also movies to New York because of work prospects. A NY detective (Jenna) is hot on the trail of supernatural occurrences when she herself is nearly killed at the hands of a demon. Leo saves her and offers to help in her investigation. The two team up and soon, fate brings Darryl, Leo and Jenna together when they find that they are un-intentionally tracking the same killer."

From Left to Right: Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Kristin Kreuk[7th Jan 04] Counting down to Orlando Bloom's 27th birthday, which falls on 13th Jan. For Singaporeans, "Charmed: Season 5" ends on Wednesday, 14th Jan. "Smallville: Season 3" has returned to the UK on 5th Jan, but there is currently no information in regards to its airdate in Singapore. The "Lord of the Rings" exhibition at the Science Centre starts from 13th March and ends on 4th June. Tickets cost $21.00 each and are available at all SISTIC outlets. Our new Powers section is up, but will still need a week or more to complete it.

[5th Jan 04] School has reopened for me, thus the site will be on semi-hiatus for now. In the meantime, as you can see, the site is currently going through yet another revamp :S And it's only about two weeks since we've reopened. You can still access the content, but some of them are still under the old layout.

[25th Dec 03] Charmed Evolution officially reopens today!!~! Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays, everybody!! Long time no see, people! After being on hiatus for so long, we're ready to get back onto our feet and get a move on with our very first I-frames layout!

From top to bottom: Sir Ian McKellen, Viggo Mortensen, Orlando Bloom[17th Dec 03] Caught the early screening of "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" today. I was a little disappointed, though, due to the fair amount of redundant scenes and the omission of several important scenes. However, the movie was touching, powerful and inspiring. I guess my favorite parts of the movie was when Eowyn (Miranda Otto) stepped up against the Witch King to defend her dying uncle, Theoden (Bernard Hill). The whole theater burst into laughter when Gimli (John-Rhy-Davies) was indignant that Legolas (Orlando Bloom) had single-handedly brought down a gigantic Oliphaunt. Deleted scenes include: Gimli has a drinking game while Legolas tries out beer for the first time; Gandalf (Ian McKellen) battling a Ringwraith on Fell Beast; Aragorn's (Viggo Mortensen) qualms about entering the Path of the Dead; Faramir (David Wenham) & Eowyn's sequence in the House of Healing; all of Saruman's (Christopher Lee) scenes, and Aragorn's parley with the Mouth of Sauron. Counting down the the days for the Special Extended VCD/DVD! PS: For those who wonders why Gandalf kept hacking and didn't use magic, it all happened in the cut scene where he battled the Witch King. The Witch King broke Gandalf's staff (his only source of magic) with his mace. But here's the blooper, at the end where Gandalf is at the Grey Havens, notice that he is carrying his staff again!
