4:The Flowerbeds start to Blossom
The left hand bed ready to be filled. We edged it with 18" log roll, with 9" above ground and 9" buried to give it plenty of stability as the bed is built up behind it and we did'nt want it collapsing in a year or so!
Trying the plants out to find the best position before the final planting.
The right hand bed looking from the house towards the patio.
The right hand bed being planted up. The large plant on the fence is a wisteria. There are also roses and clematis.
The left hand bed planted up. The pale coloured plant on the left is Nemesia 'Vanilla Mist' which has the most gorgeous scent of vanilla. I love it so much I have three around the garden now and I never get tired of the lovely smell that greets me when I come into the garden. It also flowers for months. It was in full flower in June when I bought it and its still flowering now at the end of October! Fantastic!
