Welcome to the Bakery!
Campbell's Confectionary Creations is a small local family run bakery that has been a staple in the community for 15 years. We started our bakery as a way to provide locals with fresh homemade bread and desserts that they could take home to share with their families. Located on the corner of Main St. and Elm Ave, people love to stop in whether it is to pick something up on the way home or to sit back, relax, enjoy a scone and a hot cup of coffee to start their day. While our store may be small, our capabilities are endless. In order to expand business, we have created this website. We want to show you what we have to offer for any of your baking needs.
The design we chose for the webiste is simple and sweet just like what we make every day at our bakery. The colors we use on the site are based off the colors in our bakery logo. Our logo was inspired by one of our favorite specialty gender reveal cakes. Our specialty items give us a chance to showcase the artistry that goes into baking. While our day to day baking style is simplistic, occasionally we get to show off our skills. Our website matches our style of baking. The basic information is displayed in simple formats while our titles are in a bolder and fancier font. The Home page lists the items we make fresh each day and also announces any upcoming events we may have planned. But we don't just offer what is made fresh each day. Our Menu page contains the many items we are able to make. People can pick out items they want on the menu page and then go to the Contact Us page to place their order request. We separated our images into two pages rather than incorporate them into the other pages on the site. We don't want our pictures to detract from our bakery information. The Image Gallery page was create because everyone wants to see examples of what they could order. We also created a separate page for our Special Events. This page allows you to see examples of what events we have done in the past. If someone is looking for a cake for a specific event, they can use our pictures as inspiration or as a kind of reference of what our capabilities are.
As the world around us and our business have grown, we can no longer rely only on walk-in or phone orders which is one of the reasons why we created this website. Soon we will be expanding our image gallery by adding a link to our Instagram account where people can see even more pictures of our confectionary creations! Our facebook account, which regularly posts updates about our daily offerings and events, will also be linked to the site. Eventually we will be able to not just take order requests but have our customers be able to pre-order and pay through the website.
