| INFORMATION FOR POTENTIAL VOLUNTEERS, OLDER TEENS & COMMUNITY MEMBERS |
| ADULT VOLUNTEERS: Adult volunteers include all individuals not presently enrolled in high school or those individuals over 18 years of age who wish to volunteer their time at Charlie's Place. While we welcome any and all applicants, we do require that all volunteers have a Criminal Background Clearance and a Child Abuse History Clearance. This requirement is necessary to protect the safety and well-being of the attendees at Charlie's Place and we cannot make exceptions to this rule. The clearances are $10.00 each and we will provide the short and easy forms that need to be filled out. You do not need to have any special training or skills to volunteer at Charlie's Place, just a love for children and a wish to help them succeed in life. You may find that you enjoy playing games or sports with the children or that you love reading with them or assisting them with their school work. You might wish to do craft projects with them or simply sit and talk with them. If you do have any hobbies or talents that you would like to share with our attendees, that would also be more than welcome!
