| PIZZA 'N' BOOKS PROGRAM -- implemented to promote reading at Charlie's Place and at home -- |
| THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO PIZZA-N-STUFF FOR MAKING THIS PROGRAM POSSIBLE!! You must be a registered attendee of Charlie's Place in order to participate in this program. You must inform Charlie's Place staff that you want to participate in the program. When you do this, staff will make up a certificate for you. All certificates will be kept at Charlie's Place until you are ready to use them at Pizza 'N' Stuff. Your books must be read at Charlie's Place unless you have made different arrangements with staff. Also, book level must be appropriate for your grade level and reading abilities. If you are uncertain what level books you should be reading, Charlie's Place staff will help you determine which level is best suited for you. A staff member from Charlie's Place will quiz you after each book you read and will sign your Pizza 'N' Books certificate, verifying that you did read each book. You may use your certificate at any time, but the more books you read, the more food you get. You earn food with each book you read. If you read one or two books, you get a free juice; read three books and you earn a slice of cheese pizza and a juice; reading four books is worth 2 slices of cheese pizza and a juice; and if you read five books, you get a small cheese pizza and a juice. |
