I am new to Stargate But here is what i know.
According to what I've Seen Along Time ago Aliens created the Stargates all over the Galaxy. The Stargate with the right coordinates can open to a wormhole to another stargate on another planet.
A Race many thousands of years later. apparently symbiot snakes, the GOa Uld found the stargate, and enslaved Humans. The Goauld implanted themselves into Some Humans, and enslaved others. Humans were taken and spread out all over the galaxy, and evolved. Some planets over through the Goa uld rule. Earth was one of the planets. Now in the present the U.S. military found the stargate, and uses it to explore, but in an objective kind of way. Earth, along with some other planets have teamed up to Fight the Go auld. It is Top Secret.
