| December 24, 2003 - Today I left my mom, Riley, and my seven brothers and sisters to go live my new people, they are very nice and I know I will like them, although I miss mom sometimes. |
| December 27, 2003 - Today I got to go to PetCo and PetSmart...it was cool, there were other puppies and dogs there and everyone fussed over me and I got more toys & treats!! WOOF!! |
| January 1, 2004 - Well, yesterday I tried to stay up late for my first New Year, but I was a tired puppy, I woke up for a few minutes, but not long...I learned to sit today and I turned 9-weeks old yesterday. |
| January 5, 2004 - Today I had my first doctors appointment. I go to the Vineyard Veterinary Clinic in Temecula. I met Doctor Totman, he was really nice to me and made me feel safe. He even gave me a shot and I didn't even feel it! I have to go back on January 26, but I'm not scared, I'm CHARLIE! |
| Januray 12, 2004 - Today was my first day at doggy daycare while my people work. It was fun, Jimmie is the human that watches over me. I got to run and play in their backyard, I played with my new friend, ummmm, I forget his name, I will let you know tomorrow, yeah!! |

| January 13, 2004 - My new friends name is Fritts, he is a Shih Tzu that is a year old, there is also a baby Shih Tzu the same age as me but I can't play with him because I am too big and active. Fritz likes to play with me, we wrestle and woof around all day until my person comes to get me. |
| January 18, 2004 - This weekend I played around the house, I practiced my "down" too. |
| January 19, 2004 - Today I got to play with some little people for the first time, there names were Jacob and Lily. They were really nice their mommy, Diana, let them play in some boxes, it was funny. Jacob and Lily both gave me a kiss when they left, they were like puppy people. |
| January 21, 2004 - Wow, I'm three months old today. |
| January 23, 2004 - Tonight I found out that on Monday night, I get to spend the night with my mom, Riley and on Tuesday I get to visit with one of my sisters. My mom is suppose to teach me to not be so "nippy" and be more, ummmm, be more...be calmer. I guess my sister needs some too. |
| January 28, 2004 - I had a fun day today...Last night I got to go over to see my mom (Riley) and spend the night with her and my sister, Autumn. We had lots of fun! My mom said I was biting too hard and she taught me how to be more careful. I am glad I can go see her anytime I want to. |
| January 30, 2004 - Today my AKC papers were mailed in to make me official. My legal name will now be known as, "Misty Mountain's St.Charles." Doesn't it sound prestigious? |
| February 2, 2004 - Today I got to go see Doctor Totman again. He gave me my second set of shots and implanted a microchip in my neck. The microchip hurt a little, but if I ever get lost, my address will always be with me! I get to see Doctor Totman again on February 23rd for my final shots. |
| February 14, 2004 - Happy Valentines Day! Today I got to spend the day at a ranch in Paula. Misha and Bryan (humans) were staying there and they let me see horses, a lake and a really BIG dog named Shotz, she is an Akita. That was a fun day! |
